How did you know who was staying at the hotel? Did the hotel give you a number, or did you get the information straight from the guests (or your parents or something)?
I'm afraid of not making enough...
Will the hotel say how many rooms were reserved under our block?

we have a small wedding, so I got people to call us if they wanted hotel info... and then I kept tabs on where they booked, and if they booked (some were debating driving in the morning or not)....
so far, our guests have I believe 8 rooms booked.... so I'm planning 9 bags... just in case

Just been thru this ....
If you have a block of Hotel Rooms, the Hotel can give you both the number of people in the block and their names.
...however we did just bump into this problem....if people book after the block period is over....like more than half of my friends did.....they don't have their names...
We did wind up asking our friends where they were staying, and were able to contact the sales manager at the hotel and notify them of the names of people who were staying for our wedding, so that they could put a note on their reservation that they were to get a gift bag.
We just told our friends we were giving them directions to the wedding to keep some of the goodies in the bag a bit of a surprise.

We got a list from our hotels, letting us know who booked where. (We had 2 hotels because we had almost all OOT guests) We made extra bags for each hotel, just in case. Our hotels told us not to put names on the bags because it's easier for them to just grab a bag, instead of searching for a name on a bag.
