I don't want to have roots, but also don't want to wait too long, as the color is a little dark at first.

I think somwhere between 2 weeks and a week and a half.
ETA: I should say that I'm naturally dark blonde but I go to VERY light blonde which requires more maintenance

I was planning two to three weeks before the wedding ....have to get rid of these grays - I'm starting to feel so old!!
