For those who live with FH's

Re: For those who live with FH's

How pathetic is my FH... he does ALL the things everyone else has written before me!!! Even the farting in his sleep thing which I am still laughing about!!!

Re: For those who live with FH's

He leaves his wet towels on the bed, he hogs the covers, and he has this annoying habit of going around pointing at my little piles of crap going 'Clutter! Clutter! Clutter! There a clutter, here a clutter, and look! More clutter, Rachel! Do you see a pattern here?'

Re: For those who live with FH's

My darling FH thinks that we have a toothpaste fairy that visits our house to replace the toothpaste-I have never seen someone squeeze the last tiny bit out of the tube, yet refuses to buy more.
Ditto on the hamper and garbage as well. He treats the stuffing into the overflowing garbage can as a game, to see how much he can get in there without having to throw it out. It makes me crazy.
BUT, he always gives me a kiss hello and goodnight, holds my hand while we watch TV and generally makes me smile all the time. So I guess he balances out

i feel really lucky b/c FH does a lot of stuff at home (i don't even know when garbage day is ). But, i must admit, the clothes only seem to get as far as the bathroom floor no matter how close i put the hamper to him. Oh well, among everything else, i guess it is not a big deal!!

Throws his clothes (both dirty & clean) on the floor. I guess, he never heard of a hamper, closet or dresser.....hehehehheeh

I hate picking up after him but I'd rather do that than have a messy house. What we go through.

This is hilarious....here's mine:

He slurps everytime he drinks. He likes to chew on ice and then will spit a piece back into his glass if he got toom much. He nags me about receipts for any credit card charges. He tends to be a little on the cheap side. He snores in his sleep. He never throws anything away. What the heck is he keep all that stuff for. I can go on for days. But I guess that's why I love him and sometimes want to choke him.

CHEAP! How about miserly for my FH! He simply doesn't understand why I need a new pair of black work pants once a year to the tune of $150 each time! Perhaps it's because he is a cop, therefore wears a uniform everyday...so his everyday clothes are in almost pristine condition because he only wears them 2-3 times a year! (He has a lot of clothes and spreads them out over the year) He has sweaters that people gave him for Christmas last year that still have tags on them! ANd God forbid I need a new sweater from Banana Republic or Ann Taylor. And I think if I bring home another pair of shoes, he will throw them out the window....

Re: For those who live with FH's

My Fi has a problem with clothes and the hamper. Except his clothes don't even make it near the hamper in the closet. Instead, he piles his dirty clothes on the floor next to his side of the bed. When I leave in the morning, I feel like I have to climb Mt. Everest to kiss him good-bye! And what s$#ks about this is that his side of the bed is right by the door!

He also doesn't wash dishes after dinner. He says he will, but I come home from work the next day and the dirty dishes are still in the sink and on the counter. How am I supposed to cook surrounded by dirty dishes?

Re: For those who live with FH's

My FH is neater than me, no problem with the hamper, or clothes lying around (usually mine are the ones on a chair, waiting to be put back either in to the basket or back to the closet). He won't make the bad though , but I learnt to live with that... If our schedules will change and I leave home after him, bed will be made

Re: For those who live with FH's

I have a mt. everest of mail/catalogs/books/magazines and other bridal related papers, next to my bed I try to put it away from time to time, but somehow it grows bigger exponentially, in like no time... I am slowly learning to toss many catalogs right after looking at them if I am not ordering anything anytime soon.

Re: For those who live with FH's

I think I have some of the same problems!!
He leaves his clothes everywhere...couch, floor, bed, etc. Oh..and he loves to cook which is great...I get gourmet dinners everynight, BUT...he leaves most of the pots and dishes for me to clean up! He said it's only fair to share....hmmm....I love him anyway!!

Re: For those who live with FH's

MY FH empties his pockets in every single room-so his wallet is on the kitchen table, change is scattered on tables all over the house and his keys are in the bathroom. Then he has the nerve to complain that he can't find anything.

Also, while watching tv he monopolizes the remote but the thing that bugs me most is that he never finishes watching a show. In an hours time, he has me watching 5 different show and I never get to see the endings to any of them.

Re: For those who live with FH's

Rob has a habit of never replacing anything. He'll take the last napkin and not refill them, or he'll finish the roll of t.p. and won't bother to hang a new roll...oh the list can go on and on

Re: For those who live with FH's

He steals the covers in his sleep. When I wake up, usually because I'm freezing...he has all the covers wrapped around him (like a cacoon). Really annoying...also he is not a restful sleeper, always tossing and turning. Told him as soon as we are married and have a new apt/house we are getting a queen/king size bed. Only one/two years of no sleep to go....I'm so tired!!!!

He's a remote control monopolizer. And everytime a commercial comes on he has to turn on ESPN to check the scores. Aaaaaaah! I'm so sick of football!!!
And he plays these STUPID internet games on his computer. They're like those Dungeons and Dragons type games where you play with other people online. He spends countless hours playing this one dumb game that's all text and no graphics. Borrrrrinngggggg!!!

Re: For those who live with FH's

Speaking of Mt. Everest, he has piles of magazines, unread mail, and other papers on the coffee table. I usually move them to the dining room table, then move them back to the coffee table. My father is the exact same way! I keep on hearing my stepmother's voice saying, 'You marry the man just like your father!'
