great thread! i've been going back and forth on a church ceremony and getting married at the hall for 2 months and can't make up my mind!!
part of me wants the tradition of a church ceremony but i don't want to stress out about having enough time for pics between. there seems to be so many conveniences to seeing him before......agh!
Im beginning to see the benefits to it. Plus I got a jazz quartet for my CH and there is NOOOOOO way that Im missing that

GP Miche...I feel really comfortable with my decision to see him before. Because we're all getting married on Fridays, we can basically chose any timeline we want and not have to worry about rushing or missing a beat.

yes do it, i started 2 hrs before the ceremony and i still missed my cocktail hr and had to leave for a few more shots during recep..now i wish i started 3 hrs beore..i cant even imagine how much of my wedding i would have missed if i did not do this!!!!!!!!!!!

Our ceremony is at noon and I'm planning on having pics done with my family and BM before the ceremony (and FH will do the same) and then after the ceremony take the BP and the two of us during CH. I don't think that we'll be able to go to CH, but I really don't want him to see before I walk down the aisle..so I'm willing to sacrifice it.

I did the same thing and LOVED it! It worked out perfect! WM bride too! YEAH!!!
