For those who wanted info about shot for pimples

Ok thank you girls for all your recommendations, I called up quite a few places but once I told them I have never been there before they told me I have to wait 3-4 weeks for a consultation, I was giving up hope...BUt thank you Lisa(mizzdimple) for your recommendation she had 1 appointment open tomorrow.

But the shot is called a cortisone shot, and it is covered by your insurance...Some of you asked for this info after i found out the answers

cortisone shots are great trouble shooting for individual pimples, like a big zit before a special day, you get it shot up and it dries it up in less than a day~but while you are there, its a good idea to get vitamin shots in your face, they make the skin overall healthier and lessen big pimples appearing overall, i am living proof of all shots to the face, lol!

i dont know i'll ask...the first place i called the girl had no idea what i was talking about, she said shes not sure if they do any shots, i think she was just stupid...so i just looked it up online and found something called cortisone shot, i'll talk to the Doctor tomorrow...thanks

yeah, the next day its basically gone, i have heard of girls making appts before their wedding day to zap away any enemies~

I used to get the m all the time.They're really great at getting rid of pimples fast but one time my dermo did it and he must have accidentally injected a muscle or maybe used too much and the muscle atrophied leaving a dent in my forehead. It went away after a few months but I never got the shots instead. Antibiotics work well also but you need to get a high strenght if you want it to work quickly.

yeah the antibiotics do work well, but geezearoo do they make them strong, the ones for pimples are the antibiotics that i really worried about eating when taking them, since they got me extremely sick if i wasnt on a full stomach~

OH NO now im nervous lol.

Yeah im trying to stay away from taking antibiotics but ill see what happens tomorrow

shots only really work the next day for small zits, if you have cystic acne you have to go a couple days in advance....sometimes it takes a few weeks...before i went on acutane I had a weekly appt at the dermo where i would get about 30 shots in my face and sometimes back and chest...IT WAS BAAAAAAAAAAAAD!!!! I jsut started getting those little b@stards again too....I'm so friggin nervous I'm going to have a HUGE cyst on my face for the wedding, but again...that's why God invented PHOTOSHOP!

Cortisone shots are great. I get them from my dermatologist every once in a while. I have a standing appiontment a few days before my wedding for microderm and a shot just in case...

I normally get one or two MAYBE 3 big ones here and there, and get occasional breakouts around that time of the month...These past 2 weeks got bad, i have like 3 big ones but ALOT of tiny ones. When i went to a dermatologist before they never had said i had cycstic acne

I guess i'll find out more info tomorrow
