what type of wedding band did you get/ are you planning on getting? Just trying to get some ideas on what might go well together. Any pics would be great!
I had gone back to where FH got my e-ring & none of the bands seemed right...

Re: For those with 6-prong solitaire e-rings..
I have a six prong dvatche royal crown setting.
Our wedding bands were custom made using DH's family symbol. My band is completely different from my engagement ring. They do not sit flush (close) but they are so different that it does not really matter anyway. I wear them on the same finger and very rarely I wear just my wedding band.

I have a six prong solitaire setting (see my avatar) with a plain band.
I am planning to get a plain platinum band to match FH's and (hopefully!) also a prong or channel set eternity band.
It seems to me that most bands go with the simple setting I have.

I have exactly the same style ring & because of the bottom prong I wasn't able to find a band that would sit flush to my e-ring. have you found something that sits together with it?

Re: For those with 6-prong solitaire e-rings..
I have the slightest clue what I am going to do.
I have a 6 prong and a thick band. I think I have to look into getting one custom made.
I have a 6 prong solitaire and we just ordered my band today! It's goung to be a channel set eternity band.
If you go to the Tiffany web site you can put different rings together to see how they will look. It's kind of fun!

I have a high set 6 prong, round brilliant cut ring. The setting is thick and has filligree in the sides. I think I definitely have to get a band made to match. I also think I have to wear them on separate hands, or the filligree will be covered and it will take away from the ring.

I have a 6 prong solitaire too with a knife-edge band and we just actually met with our jeweler again last Monday about my wedding band. And I am getting a channel set eternity band. But on most traditional channel sets the edges are squared off and I wanted something with rounded edges so it looked like it was made to match my e-ring. I wish I thought to take pictures of the sample he made for us to see!! oh well!!
my other choice was to do a prong set wedding band -- I love them on everyone but on my own hand I didn't love it for some reason.

I have a 4 prong solitare, but when we went looking for bands, they sales people always suggested that channel sets go best with solitares. I got one with a bit of a curve in it so it sits closer to the e-ring. I have pics in my album.

I have a 4 prong round solitaire and I just got my ring this weekend. I decided to go with a half round eternity band... I wanted smaller diamonds so that it dosent take away from my e-ring's look... I love it because it looks like an eternity from the top but it isnt..
Sorry had to resize and I think the pics came out small....
