Re: ???? For those with afternoon weddings...
Oh man, now I'm freaking out! My ceremony starts at 12:00 with an 11:30 champagne invite, which means people will be mingling around so I can't really be outside before the ceremony taking pics. I think we'll be signing the ketubah then, so I'll have to be done by 11:00, which means ready for pics by 9 and wake up time at the buttcrack of dawn! I'm sooooooo not a morning person.
got up at 6:30am hair came at 7:00am - 2 people did me, mom and 3 BMs makeup also at 7:00am - 1 person did 3 people **I also had 2 BMS getting ready themselves** left for hall at 9:15 at hall by 10:15 changed in Bridal suite and ate some food by 10:30 pictures 10:30-11:45 ceremony started at about 12:20
hope that helps!!

Re: ???? For those with afternoon weddings...
My ceremony starts at 11:30 with an invite for 11:00. I will be getting up by 4am. The girl that is doing my hair is coming at 4:30 and my makeup artist is coming at 6 am. I have to leave the latest 7:30am. My photographer wants to start taking pics at 9 am. It will take me a bit to get out there and get dressed. I'm not looking forward to getting up that early, but it's one day.

Re: ???? For those with afternoon weddings...
Hehee. Mine starts at 11:45am (or that is when I arrive)
Still trying to iron out when hair and make-up artists will show to get started.
We are not doing photos before hand so I have a little extra time to play with. I was thinking:
7:30 am shower 8:00 am coffee and lite snack in room 8:15 hair and make-up starts (my trial was 3 hours...so I need lots of time)
I either arrive at reception site at 11:00 and stay in Bridal suite or have a car entrance at 11:45 after the guests arrive. That I still have to decide...

Re: ???? For those with afternoon weddings...
We are doing pictures at 9 so we have to be ready early. For my sister's wedding, we were at the salon by 5am for 9am pictures. I was not looking forward to it but I didn't really sleep that night anyway (neither did my sister). I can't imagine how I am going to be for my own wedding.
It was such a nice, relaxing morning knowing that we had time to get ready and not be rushed. It made a huge difference on the stress level for all of us! I think it is worth getting started early (do you really think you are going to sleep?) and not having to feel under the gun all morning!

Re: ???? For those with afternoon weddings...
I had an 11:00 ceremony and had a hair appointment at 7:15 and makeup at 8:15. I was up at about 3:30 am because I couldn't sleep, so getting up early wasn't a problem for me. . The florist came to my mom's house at 9:00 am and the photographer came at 9:30. I only had 3 other girls in the bridal party who were getting their hair done, and only myself and my mom had their makeup done professionaly. It was a crazy, rushed morning, but I wouldn't change it at all. It meant that I had the rest of the day to spend with everyone.

Re: ???? For those with afternoon weddings...
My mass was at 11.
3 hairstylists arrived at 5:45. They set up and starting doing hair at 6. I had approx 13 people to have done.
1 Makeup artist came at 7. Only 5 people got makeup done.
Photographer came at 9.
It worked out well. I think 4:30 is too early - you'll be yawning at your wedding!

Re: ???? For those with afternoon weddings...
I was told by my hair/make-up person that she would need to start with me around 7:00 or 7:30am
My wedding is at 11:00am with limo coming at 10:30am. But I only have 1 MOH and 2BM and as of right now all three are getting their make-up done not sure about hair.
