I don't know what it's going to be but I am pretty sure DH is going to blow a gasket when we get it
We have one of those digital thermometers and unless its over 82, he wouldnt think of putting the AC on I am like we are not poor, we can be comfortable in our own house!!
I put them on as soon as I walk in the door

Re: For those with Constant A/c on
Holy CRAP! Was that $521 for a month or a quarter? We have a 1300 sq. ft. townhouse with central air (in Virginia) and our electric bill was only $54 last month.

WOW! Granted, we're in a 1 bdrm apt but have 2 units - I think the highest mine ever was, was around $150 or so.

Re: For those with Constant A/c on
over $500??!! oh my!
ours was $97 for june & $147 for july! we always have the central air running & our house is fairly big.
i would give my right arm for central air! we had no ac for two years in long beach & i was working at home last summer- it was awful!

Re: For those with Constant A/c on
That happened to us last year...I have Con Ed and they were able to offer me a monthly plan where I would just pay a portion of it every month along with my regular monthly Con Ed charges...
The time is upon us again though...I'm afraid to get the next bill...
