For those with non floral centerpieces-who is setting up?

For those with non floral centerpieces-who is setting up?

I have some hanging candle holders and beaded garland and votives I want on my tables. Is it too much to assume my venue will do this for me?

I would ask (just to be safe), as some venues would have no problem doing it, maybe others would. Also if you have a DOC they could do it for you or a trusted friend?

Originally I was going to DOC thing, but I'm having a smaller wedding and they offer more than I need and won't negotiate on the price for less.

my hall is setting up my centerpieces for me, there candles. with rose petals.

my hall did it for me, but i had a friend on back up just in case... .

I'm amsuing my reception hall, but if not I have a huge bridal party and it won't take us too long

where did you get the beaded garland? Is it clear? I've been looking for something like that to put around my floral centerpieces.

BTW... this is the kind of stuff that a DOC would REALLY come in handy for!

you should definitely ask your hall ahead of time. i am doing candle centerpieces and my hall told me they will set everything up for me on the tables. i just need to give them a diagram of how i want it to look when i drop off the stuff a few days before.

my florist set ours up for me and then the waitstaff lit the candles. it's a candelabra and lavendar rose petals scattered on the table.

we had non floral centerpieces and my hall put it all out for us.
