Just so I'm sure I'm reading this correctly...we cannot use a forever stamp for the main invitation envelope if it is larger than a standard size envelope or over 1 oz in weight?
So if you have a 6x6 square pocket, you're pretty much SOL if you're looking to save a few bucks?
That's what it seems like from what I'm reading...just wondering if any girls had this verified at the post office, since I haven't had a chance to go lately.

Re: Forever Stamp Question
You are correct! It really stinks but you can use them for your response cards...not that it will save much $$$.

Re: Forever Stamp Question
Sigh...that's what I was afraid of.
Oh well, there's still STDS, and response envelopes...and shower invites, and shower thank yous, and RD invites and wedding thank yous.....AND bills. Probably still worth it in the long run to hoard.

Re: Forever Stamp Question

Re: Forever Stamp Question
you could use them on the invite itself if you really want to use 2 stamps per invite then 1 stamp on the rsvp envelope.

I'm not sure sure about the stamps but i did just find out that the square invitations cost more to mail because they have to hand feed them into the machines

forever stamps will be around forever lol.... or so they say.... but if you try to buy them after the price increase, you will pay the new price for them... 44 cents instead of 42

no, stamps went up last year in May and they still had the forever stamps available. And the year before they also went up in May and had them. I guess every may they're gonna raise the price
