my best friend works there....she said they issued the WARN notices last friday and starting this friday people will definitely start getting laid off.

I really can't believe this, Fortunoff has been a staple on LI for so many years, I remember going there as a kid, with my parents shopping, even the last few years, always going at Christmas time to shop for ornaments and decorations, I am so incredibly sad ![]()

It's so insane, I wanted to keep our registry there for as long as we could, and now I'm REALLY nervous, I don't want to abandon one of my favorite stores, but you have to wondewr what's going to happen, ITA, I just wish people would TELL US WHATS GOING ON

It's very scary how a company such as Fortunoff thats been around for decades is effected by this crisis. I hate my job but everyday I thank god I have it..... Now what the hell am I going to do with my registry ![]()

I know me too!!!! Its so depressing changing my registry over to Macys. I cant believe Fortunoffs may be closing
