Well I registered there and now it seems as if it's going bankrupt and being bought over by Lord and Taylor. So what does that mean for brides who's registered there? Grrrr

this has been discussed a lot on the boards lately.

I really don't think we have anything to worry about.
This is the second time in 2 or 3 years that Fortunoff has done this and/or been sold.

It doesn't see like closing it's doors would be the move Lord and Taylor would make.
Fortunoff might not be doing wonderfully right now, but their name is a brand that sells. It'll probably be around forever... but don't quote me on that. lol

I really don't think we need to worry registry wise, and if it comes a time when registries will be effected I'm sure the stores will let us know.

if you're uncomfortable however, and your wedding is still a ways off... go ahead and delete and register somewhere else. Fortunoff doesn't really carry that much that you can't get somewhere else you know?
