The price on the sheet is the original price. and the one in the store is probbaly on sale or has been lowered. My lenox china was more expensive on the list also. but in the store it's alot cheaper. and 75% of the time there on sale.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking about applying to a Fortunoffs card. Their seasonal stuff is great and some things they have are hard to find anywhere else.
Macy's I have the credit card. Maybe I should consider....but how many registry cards do I put in the bridal shower invitations...the guests will feel like they are business cards falling out all over the place...or really big confetti!
Are you registered at BBB? I really like their fine chine department but I wasnt crazy about their bedding
You usally put the cards to where ever you are registered. weather it be 2 places 3 or 4. put them in so people know what to get you. you don't want to end up with 6 toasters.

Re: Fortunoff Registry
People bought a lot of stuff for use off the website and then had it shipped to our house. So much fun, I love getting mail!
We went into BBB to buy an e-gift for friends and noticed that Fortunoffs had similar prices for the same items. I was surprised, as I thought BBB would be a better deal.

Re: Fortunoff Registry
When I went to the Bridal Survival at Fortunoff's last weekend, they had a sign posted that they except competitors coupons. My FH asked if that meant BBB and they said yes. They probably finally realized that they were taking quite a loss when people purchased the same items at BBB. The prices are really comparable, so the coupon do make a difference.

Re: Fortunoff Registry
They have been taking BBB coupons for atleast 3 years. Just make sure that they aren't expired when you try to use them because even though BBB takes them expired they won;t. And BBB has to carry the same exact item that you are trying to purchase at Fortunoff and I think it has to be the same price. I used to work there it was a pain in the butt when people used BBB coupons because the sales people have to call BBB and find out if they carry the item and make sure about the price and sometimes the BBB people aren't very nice!!! Just a heads up!! also....could the prices be the msrp andnot the price fortunoff is actually charging?

You shouldn't put ANY in the shower invites................you aren't supposed to know about it!
I am registering at all three. I don't think 3 is too many. Or I may just cut out Fortunoff's altogether. I've gotten a shower invite where the girl was registered at four places. I didn't care, it just gave me a bigger selection to choose from...
Hmmm....when do you think is a good time to register? All this chat of shopping is making me want to go - of course FH told me this weekend that he wants to go with me when we do and doesn't want me to start it on my own! So cute!
