After driving myself soooooo crazy the last few months, i'm about 99.9% sure of the dress i'm going with. It's in my album, the last one in there.
I'm not sure where I should get the dress. I've heard a lot of positive comments about Bridal Elegance (which is where I tried on the dress), but my experience there wasn't the best.
Did anyone price shop before buying? I want to make sure I get the best deal with the alterations.

What happened that made your experience with them a negative one? If it was the person you dealt with then maybe make another appointment with someone else.
I would definitly look around for where you can get the best price from. Dont rush into anything or let a salesperson pressure you into buying it from there store. Good luck!

yes i price shopped before buying and it saved me some cash. I would just go to our wedding dress designers website find where it is sold go to those shops and even if they don''t have that particular dress give them the number/design name and ask them to estimate it out for you.

I would DEFINATELY price shop, you won't believe the difference in range of prices you will get from different locations...no kidding! You know what you want you've got the hard part done!

You should absolutely price shop and look at the different reviews on places that have good prices. If the dress is $300 cheaper somewhere then you would be saving a lot of money but if you only read awful reviews about the store and their customer service then it may be worth the extra $300 to go to an excellent bridal salon. HTH!

I priced shopped..I dunno if this helps but I called a couple of places and they would look up the dress style number and give me a quote over the phone. I ended up getting my dress for about 300 dollars less then I originally planned :)

So far, I haven't price shopped..I've shopped to find 'the one'. I found that if you look up the dress online, you could get a round-about price for it. Call up a few places, give them the style number and see if they carry it before you go there. Then go, try it on and see the price : ) Lots of luck.

I really don't want to bash anyone, the owner was really nice but said some unprofessional things about several other places that i've been to looking at dresses. It really turned me off.
Unfortunately I think we wrote down the price wrong and when I called to verify, she just said come in and i'll look for you. GRRR
Other than that i've called a few places and several of the stores wouldn't give me a price over the phone.

Just realized you are my date and name twin! I've been looking around and haven't seen anyone else on that date. LOL.
Ive heard good things about them... if youre dress is in there, you're in luck!
I know they carry the brand at RK but I don't really think I could do alterations there. Thats probably half the battle. I'd probably end up paying twice as much to get alterations done elsewhere.

Definitely price shop. I didn't make my dress decision, but I did call shops on 2 dresses I really love, and yes, there was a difference.
