Four more venues this weekend!!!

We will be seeing

Fox Hollow

Sands Lido Beach
Bridgeview Yact Club

Is there anything we should watch out for?
Questions we should ask?

Thanks

OH YEA, I'm going to a showcase at Pine Hollow Inn just to see different vendors. I already booked my venue but they don't have to know

Re: Four more venues this weekend!!!

I've worked at many many events at sands lido (i was just there last sat actually)

The place is nice in the fact that it has 1 wedding at a time and you have the whole place to yourself.
How many people are you looking to have because it is a pretty large place. One thing i do not like for a wedding is where the DJ is located.

They are proped up on a stage that is about... 2 feet high or so. The stage goes pretty deep and it's like in a outcove.. not just a stage that can be removed. One thing nice about sands lido is they already have a light system installed above that stage so don't go spending crazy money on lights with the DJ.

From what i hear bridgeview is really nice. If you were there when it was still a club with that white tent outside it's been redone. I believe there are actual walls up now
It's not as large as it once was because they built another club/event space next door which is warehouse 5.

Fox hollow is nice, they do 2 events at the same time. The one thing i dont like about it is that i believe they only have the 1 bathroom for hte 2 events which bothers me in general.

I am also hitting the RH pavement, but this weekend will not be a busy one....I am only planning to see the Swan Club. But next weekend, I have Stewart Manor CC, Sans Souci and Milleridge Cottage.

Does anyone know the minimum for the Sands Lido Beach?

Fox hollow is nice BUT was just at a wedding there and the cocktail hour room had MAYBE 30 seats. She had 130 guest. It is very hard to stand and eat / drink

Re: Four more venues this weekend!!!

How many tables per waiter,
How many events at a time,
what time will you be able to get into the Bridal Suite
Is there a photo studio you could use
What is the price for vendors
Do they provide any decorations
do they have table numbers, or do you have to provide your own?
How many bridal attendants are their
Do you have to use recommended vendors, or are you allowed to use any vendor
what bakery do they use for the cakes (then you can go to it and try different cakes to see which you like)

Ask to see the bridal suite, the rooms, and make sure oyu check the Bathrooms (odd, I know, but some are really elegant, and some look like a locker room)

Re: Four more venues this weekend!!!

Always make sure what the final total cast is , and what the bar really includes, or if there are any extra little fee's. We booked with the Sans Souci, they have a max of 200 people, but if your having less its a beautiful cozy please that only does one affair at a time .

Good Luck
