what places is she looking at?

So far she's only been to Westbury Manor & The Sands with me. I know she'll be seeing Fox Hollow & Douglaston Manor next week.

Her FH is really set on Westbury Manor.

i didnt have that experience at JT and we are going back there tomorrow to talk more dates & prices... since they jacked up my 10-10-10 lol.. ive alwways loved that place. but im keeping my options open,,,, i do love the winter garden room at FH but if BM is ggoing to continue to be pushy and annoying im done with them!!

A co-worker of mine is getting married on 10-10-10 at JT. She loves it and couldn't be happier.

And I thought JT was gorgeous, and I may have booked there, but I've got a friend or two in wheelchairs and it just wasn't accessible enough. They had ramps, but I didn't want to have to deal with that...

yea i dont like the ramp thing,,, ( my mom is in a wheelchair)

I think hers was 150 if I remember correctly (don't hold me to it!)

She's got a huge guest list. She's marrying into a large Italian family. Her FH's sister had 300 guests at her wedding. My friend doesn't want the same though. I don't blame her.

I have to say that no place I went to did I feel pressured to book actually quite the opposite. Every place I went to kinda had the whatever attitude with me, if you book here good, but if you dont whatever.

Re: Fox Hollow BM?

I think there's probably more 'pressure' to book 2010 dates then back when a lot of us were looking.

1. The economy is in the sh!thole. Everyone is feeling it, so by booking weddings vendors are making money.

2. 2010 is only 1.5 years away for most of us now... and because of the economy and how the family is changing most couples are having longer engagements.

That's why BMs are pushier to get you to book, also a lot of them just updated their price list... so they can book at the different prices now.
