the food was really good. the eggplant rollatini was to die for.
The fruit was delicious.
The desserts fantastic especially the chocolate fall with fruit. yummy.

my fi went crazy over the cotton candy. go figure with everything they had over there the one thing that impressed him was the cotton candy.

I got yelled at by FI b/c I told him he couldn't have any cotton candy...I swear, he was four seconds away from a slap and being punished! I mean how much sugar can one human being take in one sitting???? I don't know how I'm going to put him to sleep tonight!

The eggplant was soooo good so was that beef stuff and the tortellini salad! I loved the way the chocolate fountain made the room smell...yummy! I wish they put out more food though (then again I could eat for hours). It seemed like once the food started to empty out they didn't refill it but the place was packed so maybe people just kept eating it all up! I think the chowcase was nice though...I'm happy they had a 'behind the secnes' showcase at Fox Hollow. We also went to the hotel and booked our room. I can cross that off the list now!

FI doesn't think you guys exist - swear to God. He knows LIWeddings exists b/c of Tara, but the ones I call my 'friends' - he's having me institutionalized.

Christine and Mariela- I was looking ALL OVER for you guys...I thought for sure I would have heard Christine's mouth!
the Fox Hollow was really beautiful. the food was pretty good, though the calamari wasn't cooked right- it was a little rubbery, the sauce it was cooked in was excellent and not your typical 'wedding' food. I loved the beef strips and the cold platters were all great (OLIVES YUM)
they use the same bakery for the cake as Westbury Manor. Erga bakery had a very tall chocolate cake with what looked like white chantilly cream (I didn't realize it was chocolate until I MADE the guy cut it LOL)displayed there.
it was a little dry and the chocolate cake flavor wasn't too strong, so I am definitely planning a trip to the bakery to have a tasting. The Fox Hollow made cake was kinda bland- typical catering hall cake. JMO.

It so had to be you. I think when i saw you, you and FH were on the food line but then i never saw you again. I said to Fh 'i'm pretty sure that is a LIW girl, let me go say hello.' FH response 'will you come on.' Which is the same response i get when i am online here.
