Avalon more often, that's our special place and where we got engaged. We just discovered Frank Melville last year, and have only been there twice. It's much smaller, but also more open and airy. Avalon is very dark because it has a lot of greenery. Both are on water and near a grist mill, so it's just a matter of preference! You should do a dry run one day to see which one you like better.

I saw a sign there at the Duck Pond for a meadow. Is that a good place to take pics?

I think the meadow is once you cross over the road into the nature preserve, and I've never actually ventured off into the preserve, so I can't help there, sorry! The labrynth is pretty cool though for pics, if they don't have it roped off for seeding like they always seem to be doing.

I LOVE AVALON...FH and I are always there hiking and feeding the ducks...great location!!!!!!!!!!
