FREAKING OUT

FREAKING OUT

My mother recently attended a wedding at the same location I'm having mine. Same room everything. When we booked they said the room can seat comfortably 200. Great.

Well....when she came home she was a little worried. The wedding she went to had 148 people and she said that she couldn't imagine having too many more. I was inviting about 218 based on what they originally told me. Looking at my list I really can NOT take more then 5 people off. Also...I have to include the 9 piece band and 2 photographers in that number.

I wish I would of known this...even though I LOVE the hall...I would of went with somewhere bigger.

Sorry...just had to vent a little.

Don't worry, 20% won't show (so they say)

I'm sure it will be fine.

Re: FREAKING OUT

maybe you can divide your list into a A and a B list?

invite the A list people first .... family and bridal party, i guess ... and as people rsvp 'no' you can send the B list people invites ....

and maybe call the hall and confirm how many people were actually at that wedding your mom attended, maybe her count is off? i'd call the hall and express my concerns to them, see what they have to say. maybe they have a suggestion.

Maybe you can schedule a meeting with the RH and voice you're concerns and see the type of feedback they give you.
