My FILs are completely disorganized and though they have given me 4 'final' guest lists (which have 150+ ppl on them) , they are always changing them. So I told them over a month ago when I ordered our invites that the list they gave me actually had to be final...well, guess what?!?! It wasn't-- we are short invitations now and I am freaking out! Plus they are blaming me saying I should have just ordered more in the first place (I ordered 20 more than the number I needed at the time)!! UGHHHHHHHH. Just needed to vent-thanks for listening!

Try not to let them get to you. See if you can order some more invitations and ask your FFIL's to cover the cost of the extra invitations.

I am looking into it, but they were expensive invites to begin with and ordering 25 so that I can get the 8-10 that I need is going to cost a fortune!

lie and tell them that you were short. they dont even count them and many times will not give your the exact amount asked..

THAT ***** Can you order more? Whose fault is this? Whoever mad the mistake needs to pay for the extra invitations and printing costs. I'm sorry....this is very upsetting

So the extra invites cost $650.... fabulous. FILs are paying for it since it was their fault, but still, I could do without the headache! I wanted them to go out next week!!

oh no! My FIL's are the same way and I told FH that once I ordered the invites that was it and it is. If they want to add someone at this tough luck. My parents are paying for most of the wedding anyways so if anyone get's to add its my parents.

FILs.....Are crazy...Don't let it get to you...I know that it's easier for me to say than do...But....they are all like that....I would order more and then tell them to lay off!!

I just re-read this..... The answer is NO. They can invite the original guest list that they gave you. That's it. NO more. If they wanted others, they should have let you known up front. they're all done No more guests....they can have the original 150 (or whatever number it is that they gave.) You're the bride......you have the say....thats it. Done.

Thank goodness they are paying for the extras!
Don't freak out - you can still get the invites out next week, ask them to help you stuff envelopes!
