Ok I just put a deposit on a dress I thought I loved and I got home and I'm freaking out. I'm starting to panic I made a mistake. If it was THE!!! dress then wouldnt I be excited right now. I already called and they're closed, do you think it would be a problem to cancel the order?????
UPDATE***** Since they didnt place the order yet they said they would refund me my deposit!!! WOOHOO Thank god.

you can probley cancel. but wont get your deposit back...maybe they'll hold it if u can pick another dress there you love

Go back to the store and try it on again..... You obviously love it if you wanted to get it, you just need to put it on again so you realize why you love it!!

Well I say go back to the store try it on again and if you still love it then it's the one and if it's the one I wouldn't look at any more dresses just in case it wasn't the one.

I don't see why you wouldnt be able to cancel ....I am sure they didn't put the order out yet...call them first thing tuesday morning!!!

you can cancel an order but you wont get your deposit back, you can use it towards another dress though...but go back and try it on again, i did the same thing

What made you panic? were you looking at more dresses in a magazine or online, or were you feeling pressured when you had to decide on the dress so you voted yes and now you aren't sure? Or, did you just get that icky feeling in your stomach? I agree, go back and try the dress on again in the morning with a fresh head. bring your BFF or your sister or someone you trust dearly. If they don't give you your deposit back, then maybe you can use it towards another dress, as someone earlier suggested, or maybe even towards bridesmaids dresses and/or wedding accessories. Keep us posted and good luck!

Ok UPDATE**** I was in tears, I loved it in the store but there were 2 things that were bothering me that I guess I ignored. I kept thinking about another dress I tried on earlier today so I went back and tried it on after my meltdown and knew right away this is the dress. Iguess I felt pressured to pick something so I took the 2nd dress but in the end its not perfect. I recently lost 15 lbs. and realized I dont need to hide under a huge dress anymore and thats part of the change of heart.

I think if you call the place first thing Tuesday morning and explain the situation..... Worst case, they make you purchase another dress there or keep your deposit. This is your big day... You shouldn't settle at all. If this is NOT the dress you really want, call the place and explain things. Hope everything works out! Please keep us all updated!

I had felt pressured too and did the same thing, i put money down on a dress and we went back and I HATED it. we did not get out deposit back but I did end up with the dress that I love! that is most important..

Re-think about it, are you in love with another dress? Did you buy this dress just to buy it? Did you buy this dress bec you knew it was the one? WHy do you feel you have to cancel it??
