Freaking out a little about the amount of stuff that has to go from storage to chuch and reception hall and back again
Now, I know that the RH and my DOC and florist will help organize all this, and I have many groomsmen who will be helping, but here is a partial list:To church: unity candles and holder, programs, pee bows, flowers for the Blessed Mother, possible garlands for our chairs.
TO RH: 220 hand painted champagne glasses, 220 wine bags with full bottles of wine, about 15 living topiaries in gold painted pots, shallow bowls for cocktail fruit bowls, box and notes for guests to write good wishes for us, escort cards, card box and stand, two or three layers of table overlays and runners, chair bows, 220 gold plate chargers, little boxes with Jordan almonds, our cake knife and server, bathroom baskets, slipper basket.
Not counting making sure that the ring bearers have their holders and the flower girls have their hair decorations, and that the OOT bags get to the hotels.
Argh! Am not too worried about getting stuff there, but its the logistics of picking things up the next day when people will be hung over and getting ready to return home!
Just venting, but this part will be so nerve wracking to me!

You can drop some of those items ahead of time. A few days before. It's your DOC's responsibility to organize everything.... You just have to explain everything to her. Organization is the key!

I have a TON of things that need to be transported to the church & RH as well.... we plan to take every thing where they need to go the week of and every thing will be organized in totes with pictures of the set-up & detailed directions. Overboard, maybe? but it gives ME peace of mind!
plus it's easier on the staff & my DOC to not have to guess!I went through all of my stuff a few weeks ago and did my set-up pictures.

i was also worried about this but i basically was informed by someone to use totes.so my aunts did the church. they took it out and packed it up kept it in their car and dropped it off after the honeymoon.
i brought the rest in another tote to the hall. then i picked it up with the best man the next day. the hall said they would even hold it till Monday.
dont worry my hall gave me a check list and wanted it 3 days before. once i gave it to them it was a load off my shoulder. i also dropped my hotel bags off two days before,
the only thing you take home the night off is the card box... dont worry they wrap everything up for you and its at the door when party is ending.. so if you have a sober driver ask them to put it in their car.

I dropped off all my stuff today Trust me - I had a TON of items. I was really nervous and dreading it. But it only took about 15 minutes to unload, label and store at the RH. It all went very smoothly.

I am definitely providing each box with details and diagrams with exactly where and how if goes! I mean, I have a whole tablescape laid out just so and I want it perfect! I know the DOC coordinator will be helping. For sure, I DO NOT want to be giving it a thought on my first married day! LOL

*Crashing*I don't have a DOC and am stressing about all of the things that need to get where they are going. I planned on bringing stuff to the venue beforehand and possibly even dropping off stuff to the church as well. I hope that I can do that!! Stressing out.

What are totes? Those clear plastic bins they sell at target and walmart?
