FREAKING OUTTTT

MY WEDDING IS SUPPOSED TO BE 3 1/2 MONTHS AWAY AND NOW MY FATHER IS TELLING ME TO FIND ANOTHER HALL !!!!!

SINCE I WORKED OUT EVERYTHING ELSE AROUND JUNE 23RD I NEED TO STICK TO IT !

HOW THE HELL CAN I DO THIS?

I live in brooklyn ...
can anyone suggest halls?

I never started to look because we've always planned to get married there! We had our date and everything!

I dont even know where to start

please help

The hall raised the price on me with food!
My father was there last night and when they were going over the menu he started saying.. 'oh you want this?..that will be more money !!!'

The menu was horrible. It had nothing on it for the price that we were paying.

My father got all upset and said we need to find another hall because there is no way im getting married there.

oh and my FFIL decided he wants to bring 600 of his own guests to my wedding.

when my family has only 200.
Thats why my FFIL wanted us to get married there so bad. He thought we'd do buffet and hell be able to bring as many ppl as he wants.

But now that my father said seated the truth comes out !

my father hates buffet! he wants seated.
I need to find another place asap

How many guests will you really be having? If you are seriously planning on inviting over 600 people then it might be a little more difficult to find a hall.

Im trying to be reasonable with everyone ..im fine with having 500 .

More than that just looks so messy !!
No one likes to go to a packed wedding where it takes 20 minutes to get to the bar.

Here in Brooklyn a lot of people in our community do that .
I HAAAAATE THAT !!!!!!

i dont know what to do i swear i dont even know where to start looking.

I cant believe this is happening

I believe leonards can accomodate you but then again i'm not sure. You can definitely try them. I'm so sorry you have to go through this, I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!!

there is a place that just opened in queen called elite palace.....that have huge weddings i have never been there but there garage holds like 400 cars.....they should have dates available because if they just opened how could people have booked it?

Maybe try a hotel in manhattan or somewhere local...they have to have a huge ballroom you can use or something....

I know someone who got married at the Manhattan Beach Jewish Center in Brooklyn. It was beautiful and the food was delish!

WOW! Try the El Caribe in Brooklyn. I went to a wedding there and it was awesome!
With that size of a guest list you might need to look at hotel ballrooms. Why did the price change at you RH? Didnt you sign a contract?

Didnt you sign a contract with your current RH?? I'm pretty sure its going to cost you A LOT more to switch RHs this late in the game, only b/c you'd have to honor your contract with them PLUS pay for another hall and all those guests!

I'm assuming your Jewish?

My hall caters to Kosher food and it can hold up to 500 guests.

I got married at the Marina Del Rey in the Bronx, however June is a very popular month try calling them...
