Free Cosmetics at Macys

Hey ladies, just wanted to let you in on this little secret. January 20th, Macy's and other department stores including Nordstroms, Bloomingdales, etc. will be giving out 1 free skin care or cosmetic item per person, worth about $25. This is the result of a lawsuit won in CA, not sure of all the details, but all you have to do is show up, and sign your name on a paper agreeing that you don't work for any of these companies. You get to choose your free gift, strict limit of one per customer. Stores will not be checking IDs or anything. Also immediate family members of employees are excluded. The product is not returnable, and I don't think its anything currently carried by those stores, as far as I was told. Its all hands on deck that day, my boss said its going to be a zoo. There will be a line to wait in and they will be giving out the stuff until its gone, even if it takes a day or two. Enjoy!!!

yea, im sure they will run out of stuff..and u knowww employees are tkaing stuff.. no matter that the 'rules' say


u have to sign some release form saying u purchased stuff btwn 1998 or something..

i read on another message board(diff site) ppl got body washes, mascara, etc.. so ya its going on.. long lines though.
some stores allowed u to choose 1 of 4 items.

I went today to Macys to buy my TWOTY oufit and OMG it was a madhouse! They were giving out free stuff like Clinique, Estee Lauder, Christian Dior, Calvin Klein. The line was ridiculous. People were fighting to stay on this line. Not worth my time at all.
