We're doing the Paul Gaughin cruise first for a week, then staying in an OWB at the Intercontinental in Moorea for a couple of nights afterwards.

All depends on how much you want to move around. Personally I like the 1/4/5 itinerary better. That way you don't feel rushed at any island.

i agree also.
it takes time to get from one place to the other, you'll have to pack and un pack and re pack again..

the flight from tahiti to moorea is only 7 minutes but then the flight from moorea to bora bora is 1 hour and then i think u have to take a 45 min helicopter ride to tah aa..
whichever you decide though will be fabulous!
