thank you again!! i get so worried that even though Tahiti is paradise, i would hate to spend all that money and be disappointed with the hotels.
I could save a ton of money and stay at the Sofitels in bora bora and moorea or go with the Pearl resorts...

You will NOT be disappointed with the Pearl resorts!! Both resorts (moorea & bora bora) were gorgeous and we highly recommend both. The Pearl on Moorea is in the perfect location and has a beautiful infinity pool! The Bora Bora Pearl was just stunning and the pool there was amazing too. Not to mention the gorgeous lagoon and huge bungalows!!! I want the bathroom we had there in my own house. We loved that the pearl was on it's own island, very cool experience.

We saw the construction going on at the sofitel and it looks like it's going to be nice too. You really can't go wrong.

Good luck in making your decision.

Thanks!! Actually, we saw the waterfalls on Dave's Circle Tour in Tahiti, not Bora Bora. If you are in Tahiti for one day, I highly recommend taking the Circle Island tour. Dave is alot of fun and Tahiti is underrated!!

I'm leaving on the 13th and coming home on the 23rd... I'm just going to miss ya!!!

Quick Question.... Did you get any shots before the trip to Tahiti?? Such as Malaria, or yellow fever... Should I get any shots. Someone suggested a Malaria shot, but I don't want to get sick before the wedding... You know when you get the flu shot, sometimes you get sick.. The wedding is in 6 days..Not sure what to do?????

I wouldn't bother with the shots, Tahiti is pretty good health wise. Besides, if you do get them, it has to be at least a month before your trip for them to be effective. No worries! Enjoy.
