~Friday Feb 18th QOTD~

Morning Ladies!!
I really enjoyed being BOTW this week and will announce the new BOTW tomorrow morning!!!

Hmmmm whose it gonna be......

Today's question is....

What is you new name going to be, if you dont mind sharing....
Any reservations about taking on a new last name for any of you? Anyone not taking FH's name and why?

My new name will be Randi Lyn Weinberg. It is now Randi Ganut. My last name has haunted me since birth, mostly due to mis-pronouncing on almost everyones part since I was in kindergarten and was always teased. The way its spelt, looks like it would be pronounced Ga-NUT. So kids went wild with the NUT part forever!
Plus my first name being Randin (a boys name) didnt help matters~
Im excited to be a Weinberg!!!!!

FH's last name sucks, so I am keeping mine! Nothing will change, and we are both ok with that

My new last name will be Bivona, so that means that my initials will be staying the same which I love.

ALSO, considering my current last name is Bonomo, it really isn't too much different. Both italian, both six letters. I love both of the names, even though I know people will still mess up the pronunciation.

Oh anddddddd I'm excited because so many of the girls names that I love go very well with my new last name.

I love his last name. Its long and Italian which I don't mind lol but its impossible to pronounce and spell correctly for most. If you look at it, its actually quite simple, but people read it fast and add all sorts of letters into it that aren't there! It'll be a real change for me because I have a really short and simple last name now. But I'm looking forward to being Mrs. P

i'm not a fan of FH's last name only b/c it doesn flow with mine. right now I'm a Pascual and in a few months, i'll be a Killian. Beer anybody??

I grew up with the last name, Bart, which people on phone always think I'm saying Part bc honesty, Bart is not a last name. Seriously! People at Ellis Island must not have been able to spell the rest of it.
My new name is going to be Harner. So I'm going from Bart-Fart to Harner-HardOn. No matter what the jokes on my kids! Haha

My last name now is W i l s o n, very easy and very common.

My new last name is going to be pronounced Wiz-ow-ski but the spelling is much more difficult. Like cyclops from Monster's Inc. I'm going to see how long I can go before changing it! Not that I don't like it, it's just that it's going to be a pain in the a** to have to spell it out to people for the rest of my life!

I still am wrapping my head around the fact that after 32 years of being me and learning my name and writing it on everything...its going to change...people say you are changing your identity, while yes the name may or may not change you are still you....

I look forward to taking on FH last name :) his mother on the other hand told me I probably shouldn't....yes FMIL hates me that much!!! LOL

I don't mind FH's last name but I do like mine better lol

I'm going from Ashley St. Clair to Ashley Tarricone. The only down side is that my initials are going to be APT - my brother's new nickname for me is apartment

My last name is Lerner---Yes Lana Lerner. I will be keeping my last name.

I am keeping it for a few reasons....#1 I love the way my last name goes with my name...lol. I also am the only child so wanted to keep my fathers last name going. I don't like how my last name sounds with FH and I feel like I will be losing a part of me if I give up my name too...LOL

My new last name will be Petersen, which basically goes with most names so I'm happy. I am a little sad that I won't have my last name any more (I have 3 brothers so I'll be the only one without our name ) But I can't complain bc I know my new last name could be a lot worse. And I know this sounds weird but with my maiden name my initials were CD and the way I write with my letters close together it always reminded me of a butt. (_l_) So I'll now be CP

Mine will be O'Connor. I will miss my old last name but honestly it's going to be nice to have a last name people can pronounce properly on the first try LOL

I'm excited to take on FH's last name, but am also a little down that I will no longer be my current last name :( My initials currently are 'AK' which some people call me by also. Now I'll be an AD, but atleast FH is also an AD, and I want to name our frist child with an A ...so we can be the AD's! LOL

Both of our last names are long and always said incorrectly, so that part won't change lol

I am counting the days! I can't wait to have my FH's last name! It's still italian--Rocco--and I was teased constantly back in the day (last name now is Como...rhymes wiiiiiiith!) I love that I still have a short, 2 syllable name too. And Rocco is just a cool name

ONLY drawback is now I'm at the end of the alphabet, before I was the beggining!

Well I'm gonna be Mrs. Cali and being from California it is perfect. FH changed his last name to Cali recently because he never identified with his father or father's family (father passed away in 1993)...plus it was ALWAYS mispronounced. He didn't want to give that name to me which was always pronounced 'Booby'

My name now is Jennie Nicholas, and it will be Jennie Faraci. I love my last name and hate to lose it, so we agreed to name our first boy Nicholas.

i cant wait to change mine im going from Brianne Wargo to Brianne Brown which is for sure an upgrade! only downside and im not really sure its a downside is that me and FH have practically the same name we're going to be Brianne and Brian Brown which is a whole alot of alliteration!
