Woohoo it's Friday!!!!

Here is your QOTD:

Are you planning on taking your FH's last name, and if not, why?

I am taking FH's last name and truly can't wait. My last name is another 'first name' and I am sick of being called the wrong name. Really, it's very annoying! lol

I am with you the excitment of taking FH's last name. HIs is very easy, Kaufman ; mine is not.

I get soo many different spellings, saying of my last name now - not even funny

AND its one of the easier greek last names ; I think

yes your last name is easy, and phonetically spelled I think.

And FYI, tomorrow I will try to post the QOTD from FH's apartment but if not, it will be posted in the evening.

I am going to take FH's last name, I guess I'm traditional in that sense. Plus I want to have the same name as our kids.
Although I will admit it is going to be a hard transition, getting used to a new last name!

I am legally changing my name but for work purposes I am going to keep my maiden name. I have been speaking on education law and I am known in the industry with my maiden name so I don't want to cause confusion.

But legally in exactly 11 months I will be the Mara Nader!

I'm undecided- FH totally wants me to take his last name- he likes the tradition of it, and teases me that he'll call the wedding off if I don't change it...I know if/when we have kids they'll def take his last name...but for me, for my career- I really would like to keep my last name

HAHA Melissa we just had this discussion yesterday. I will be taking my FH's name as well bc I also have a girls first name as my last name and cant wait to finally be called by my first name now after 34 yrs LOL

Also,

I will always been known as Dendrinos in my office, work etc...

I plan on hyphenating my name on FB is that counts hahahahaha

ETA: How dare spellcheck tell me Dendrinos isn't a word... bastid LOL

YUP!!! Makes me a little sad though, my dad has 4 girls so no one to carry on his name Its so weird to think i will have to start writing a different last name!

Yes....,makes me a little sad because I LOVE my last night and I really feel like it's my identity, so I might have a bit of an identity crisis after I change it over...but I would never not change it. I'll most likely keep my last name for some work stuff though....I'll prob hyphenate it for that.

I will take FH's last name!! I honestly am not 100% that I want to but it means alot to FH that I do so I will take his last name. It actually makes me feel very sad to leave my last name. I love it soo much. FH's last name is soo boring and plain. I love the sound of mine

I will probably keep my last name at work. But i'll hyphenate on Facebook

I will be taking his name because we both have first names that start with 'R' and so does his last name! I couldn't pass on the ridiculous cuteness of that.

My last name is Wolf....which is an awesome last name, but I might use it as a middle name down the road!

SIde note: I always wondered what happens to couples that hyphenate their kids names (some people do..) What if they marry someone with two last names also. Would they then have four?

I'm changing mine and can't wait! I already made an email address with the new last name!!!! hahahaha

I'm so excited to be Mrs. Arevalo. ahhhhh just the sound of it melts me!!! I love my FH soooo much! =)
