Are you planning on taking your FH's last name, and if not, why?

I am taking FH's last name and truly can't wait. My last name is another 'first name' and I am sick of being called the wrong name. Really, it's very annoying! lol

Im changing mine. So funny how I never liked it bc its long and always gets mispronounced but now at the age of 30 im so used to it and getting asked the question, 'what nationality are you???!' I love him so much that it just feels perfect that I change it!

My last name is more original.. whereas when I switch to my FH's last name... I'll have the same last name as thousands of people instead of about 100 or less people.

Haha no one has my last name now except a few family members. FH has a common lastname! So I will meet people in my life time not related to the family with the same lastname

I'll be taking FH last name as well. Unfortunately people will be able to determine my nationality with my new last name wheres they couldn't before-darn! I always like to pretend I don't understand the language in case someone is talking about me

Sigh.. I am a little conflicted about what to do. FH is very easy going and ask for very little, one of the things he does want is for me to take his name. I love my last name, I really want to keep it. I thought about hyphenating but my last name is already so long and the names sounds terrible together. I have no idea what my last name will be. lol
