How does everyone feel about friday night weddings, there is a big price difference between the two just wanted to gather some opinions or speak to brides that have had it on that night!

if u want friday go for it...if other peopel arew worried about being tired they can take off work or not come

obviousl- it is ur decision but not ever-one can take off of work i mean famil- probabl- but i not all the guests
i think u have a lot less people at the church on a frida- so it depends if u want people to go to the ceremon- as a guest i wouldl rather go on a sunda- night even if i had to work the next da- than to go after a long week of work

you have to do whats best for you!
whoever wants to be there, will make the effort to be there...even if it means taking off..
i understand how u feel.. i always wanted a saturday night wedding.. but then saw the price difference... we are paying for it ourselves
don't worry ... i thing i have learned you will NOT please everybody...

My wedding will be on a Friday, we were looking to get married on a Sat but the prices were way to much for us and we are paying for it ourselfs. My RH started throwing extras in our package if we chose a Friday night or Sunday wedding. So Dont stress who ever wants to be there will be there , if its more affordable then go for Friday or Sunday. Good Luck.

our wedding is on a friday night and we are saving a lot of money that way! My girlfriend got married on a friday in june and it worked out fine.. people a had a lot of notice so were able to take the day off or make arrangements to leave early. Your closest family and friends will find a way to be there

Mine is on a Friday...The only thing is the chruch is at 3 pm so some people might not make it but the recep. is at 7 so eberyone will make that. Some people asked us to push it back a little but it is just not possible for us. Who wants to make it will make it. So if it works for you then go for it. My sister had hers on a Friday and it was perfect.

Thats another thing we sent out Save the Dates over a year in advance so everyone knows.

Our wedding is on Friday of Labor Day weekend. We did this b/c my hall already had every saturday booked for the month of August. We're sending our save the dates out a year in advance because its both a friday and a holiday weekend. This is what most planning books suggested to do in that situation (so that our family members don't book a trip for that weekend). I'm prepared that not everyone will be at the Church, but the people closest to us who we really care about will be there, and that's what counts.
