'friends' gripe

I cannot stand Joey anymore!!! they are making him SOOOO Dumb! and not even funny dumb.... just stupid and annoying! the last two weeks of him have been horrible!!
I used to like him, but if htey keep him this stupid his show will fail!

Personally I think the whole show is stupid. These people are in their 30s and they act like real jackasses

Monica is horrible

I don't like how they've all become pigeonholed into a certain personality. Just because Joey is the 'slow' one, he can never say anything intelligent? Because Phebee is the 'spacey' one, she has to say something annoyingly bizarre every time she opens her mouth?

Don't even get me started on Monica.

yeah, I know what you mean. Although it was funny at first, it got really tired fast.

I am actually disappointed with the last season as a whole. I think the episode a couple of weeks ago where Ross and Monica kissed was enough for me.

yeah i definitely think its time to wrap it up!! (probably should have done it last season)
I only watch because i've been stuck doing so the last # of years that i have to see it to the end! LOL

i cannot stand Monica either! and Ross has gotten so annoying too! he used to be mopey annoying, now he's just weird annoying.

He has been too dumb for a long time. But I thought his attempts at speaking French last night were hysterical.

I have really lost interest in the show...but the part when Phebe was telling the guy in French that Joey was slow was one of the funniest scenes that they have had in a long time!!

I was LMAO!!

Couldn't agree more! I was actually looking forward for it to end so I could watch the other shows!

I used to love that show, but so much is just dumb now...especially Joey. It's not even funny anymore!!!

I love the show. To me its just TV and I can't really take it seriously. I still find the show funny and I will miss it when its gone. Can't wait for Joey's new show next year.

You have no idea how happy it makes me to hear that there are other people in the world who have a problem with Friends. I haven’t watched it since 1995. Everyone looks at me like I have two heads when I tell them that I don’t like Friends!

I get that same reaction ... 'what, you DON'T LIKE FRIENDS' Ummm.. NO?!!

IMO , it peaked a loooong time ago ... How many different ways can Ross & Rachel break up and make up after awhile (mind you, i haven't watched since the mid-90s either..so I could be wrong here!)

You're right he has always been 'slow' on the show, but I think this season they are putting it on a bit thick. I will definitely give it a chance bc I used to really like the Joey character. I just hate to see an actor get type casted.

i love this show but i've been saying the same thing since the season started. they've stereotyped each character and only stress one feature them. there is no denying that they made joey extra stupid and monica extra neurotic this season. i love the show .. but that really gets to me. it was much funnier when they were normal people who had their own unique little quirks .. now they're just all quirky! but i'll miss my friends
