We never really wrote out a budget I am sure my parents did so I am not sure, But as of right now with RH, Flowers, Band, & Photo/Video checked off the list we are already at around 60,000. I am assuming the total for the wedding will be some where near $80,000-$90,000 for everything

Thankfully no we are not paying for anything related to the wedding except our weddings bands

fh thinks 30k, i think 40k. should be intersting as we get closer and really start figuring out the numbers.
we are trying to keep it at $15..key word 'trying'
I definitely dont want to go over my budget. I will make adjustments as needed. We still are in the process of buying a home
Budget or not my ultimate goal is to pay as little as possible for the things that we want and to haggle and bargain with every vendor. I also have a great family that is all helping with as much as they can. My aunt is a floral designer so she is doing all my cp's and bouquets, my cousin is a wedding planner and my dad's friend is a dj and is offering his services at a huge discount, he would have been our first choice anyway. So we are very blessed to have great loved ones.

Yeah we really have to go through it in more detail together.... I wrote down some things after I read this topic and came up with about 45k.... need to know if there is gonna be more...

i seem to be lucking out on the wedding costs...it probably helps that im in PA as well..but this is how its looking...
my neighbor, who is a friend of my family is a good DJ around my area--- he is DJing for us and charging us only $200![]()
my RH is so pretty and includes so much stuff..its only $22.95 for a plate of food and word on the street has it that is really good...im estimating about 300 people, so close to $7000 for the RH...it also includes a lot!.. it includes my cake ((they will make it anyway i want)) 22 types of cookies, decorations in my colors, table linens, champagne glasses for the wedding party and a special one for the bride and groom that has the date and stuff engraved, a cake cutter and server, a guest book, a throw away garter, and they will also include centerpieces and favors but i am doing those both my way cause i didnt like any of theirs...they clean up and give you all the extra food..
i got an amazing deal on my dress...the dress was originally 1200, and i had a coupon and it was on sale..so i got my dress, my $200 veil, my bra, and skirt thing that poofs the dress out more all for $905!
my pictures are costing $2500
so far, im up too a little more than 10,000 only!!!!
Maybe if we have the wedding there and then come back I can afford it!
I got married on 6/21/08 and originally our budget was set on 30K. We had a beautiful outdoor garden ceremony & reception with 70 guests in total, our wedding end up costing over $40K. It will be very expensive if you don't have any network of people you know as well as friends who can recommend you vendors to give you perks/discounts. This really taught me a lot about the wedding industry planning everything myself. I'm planning on taking a course to become a certified wedding planner in March. We originally budgeted for 70k but I have a feeling it may come closer to 80 with honeymoon etc....just ridiculous our hall alone is close to 35k when I think of how much money that really is I want to throw up however it is the dream and I know it will be worth it.
