The part that s*cks the most is that the closer you get the higher your budget gets. Theres so many little things people dont put on their budget at first, and things add up towards the end. Little and big things that creep up on you or dont put in the beginning. And some things are small but alot of small things add up. that is really helpful... but i think im gonna throw up lol

im glad PA is cheaper than NY!!!

our rh is amazing because it includes:
*a bunch of different food, and we pick the menu
*our wedding cake ((we get to design it))
*decorations
*table linens and stuff like that
*25 different types of cookies
*little finger foods for the early birds
*security gaurds
*brand new personalized cake cutter/server
*brand new personalized toasting flutes
*and it also includes other things that i wont be using ((centerpieces, favors, throw away garter))
------------i want to do those myself

*they also clean up and we get to keep the extra food.


its 21.95 per person...we are expectng about 300, so thats about 6500$ for all of taht stuff!!!

i honestly dont think i will go over 15K and im getting everything i want

It really does sadly and the worst part is they are alot of details that most people don't focus until towards the end. Which s*cks bc at that time you are paying off vendors and preparing for all the final payments. Then you remember all these things and end up spending more money than expected, and with less time to the wedding, less time to save. I wish i had taken care of all that way before the wedding.

ETA: oh i forgot clip on extensions for any ladies doing that.

So I totally did it backwards!! I moved from PA to here!!!

We originally budgeted for $30 and it looks like when all is said and done (including all thoes little things and honeymoon) $45,000. Just about my entire years salary before taxes!!!

I just added it up... rings, ceremony, reception, dj, photos (no video) are currently costing (with 150 ppl) 32k.... ahhhhh!!!!!

I think I need to cheap out on flowers... damn..

and I still have a lot more to go.... probably about 50k (this does not include engagement party, bridal shower, honeymoon)
