Frustrated!
I had an appointment this afternoon to pick up my donation cards from the Little Shelter, they were ready 2 weeks ago but last weekend they weren't available to let me come in so I had to wait until now. So I go to pick them up and the woman said to make sure it was our names on it, and it was.
So I go back to my car and really read through the card, which started off to the effect of 'In honor of their wedding guests, Alexandra and Alexios have generously donated to the Little Shelter...'
Then a big paragraph about the shelter.
Then bottom line:
'We would like to wish Angela and Joseph best of luck in the future.'
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH. Clearly the last couple that had made a donation favor, and they didn't change the template. You would think before running off 150+ you would proofread???![]()
So I had to go back in and make the correction and now supposedly they're going to call the woman back to redo them, and i'll get called when they're ready, but they were all discombobulated so I'm going to have to make sure it actually gets done. Revolved my whole day around it, ugh. Luckily it's on the way to FH's, but a little off the beaten path, so FMIL offered to get them for me when they're done the next time since much closer to them.
I just don't get it though. Like almost nothing has gone off without a hitch...do people just not care or check their work anymore?
