Frustrating hall search

Frustrating hall search

This hall search is too frustrating. I can't find a hall I like that would allow me to use outside catering...and that fits in my price range. It's SOO limiting!!!!!

Metropolitan is out..they wouldn't work with my food options.

Yeah I know how you feel....you'll find a hall soon that will fit your wants and needs. It takes time and patience, but I know you will!

What is your price range pp and how many people are you looking at?

check out this site. It should show costs and whether or not they allow outside caterers. Hope it helps

Did you look at any of the vineyards?
I know some allow outside caterers.

And there was just a review on the Brides review board about a Bride's DIY Wedding at the Smithtown Brush Barn. It was BEAUTIFUL, and she brought in her own caterer.

About 150 people. I'd rather not spend more than $100 per person (that's including the outside catering pp charge). Generally the halls that do allow outside catering reduce their normal pp charge to account for the food.

I think my real issue is that I've been to a million family weddings at those few halls that do allow the outside catering..and I'm really trying to find something unique, but affordable.

I think I'll buy the sites books from B&N.

Thanks!

I had this problem also. I just went ahead and booked a VFW, my moms interior decorator will do the decor as per myself, and my uncle will cater. So that way I will have everything I want w/ less exspenses
