Are there any other full time students out there who feel like they have very little time in their schedule for wedding planning? I'm in a doctoral program, and I have no time to do anything! I guess July and August will have to be very, very productive. Just wanted to see if there was anyone out there feeling the same as me. Plus, I'm supposed to studying for finals now, so this is a good form of procrastination. Thanks!

Re: Full time students
Yup I'm finishing up Law school and so if Marcela1654. It is really tough I just have to make it thru the next 2 1/2 weeks and then I will only have one class and my pro bono - which will end in July (long story - due to my FH and not knowing where he will be to take the july bar - I have postponed taking it until Feb - 2 months before my wedding) In fact I just finished a paper and have to leave in a few minutes to hand it in so I have not been to bed yet.
It is really hard trying to balance everything. I have basically put off getting my dress until my finals are over.
On top of the stress at school my FH is in MI so I only get to see him every so often which makes planning even more difficult.
If you ever need to talk you can FM me.

Like Rob Luvs Me said, I'm finishing up law school and I'm about to go insane. I have the world's hardest final this Friday and I'm taking the NY and NJ bars in July So I'm not doing any wedding stuff until August.
Good Luck with finals girls

Re: Full time students
Yeah, I am not only in the middle of finals week, but I am studying for my Grad school entrance exams - and I work full time also. It seems like it never ends! But it seem to me that people like us who do many things all the time tend to get more done in the long run anyway!!

Re: Full time students
I'm a PT student and I work FT and it gets very stressful. I put off planning pretty much until the semester is over. Luckily its winding down now so I'm starting to pick it up again. I'm going to have to get as much done as possible this summer because when school starts up next semester I'm not going to see the light of day!

Re: Full time students
Tell me about it! Even when i am not bogged down in wedding stuff I am a hermit when I'm in school. Unfortunately I have to take about 12 credits this summer to be able to graduate on time (silly me I changed my major.) And the wedding's in january

Re: Full time students
Congrats! My proposed 2006 graduation is soooo far away. Being a full time student also doesn't help financially! I just keep reminding myself that it will all pay off in the end.

Being a full time student and getting married is not exactly kind to the wallet!!! 60,000 in loans for school makes me sick just THINKING about it!! And planning!?! Wedding, what wedding???!!!

Re: Full time students
I go to school full time and work full time, so I understand what you all are going through! I will graduate in June from Nassau and begin Post in September. I can't wait for it all to be over! Planning a wedding, working, and going to school at the same time is really stressful! I give us all alot of credit!! Hang in there, girls!!

Re: Full time students
Yep! I am also in a doctoral program (phd in clinical psychology). I also work for Kaplan test prep, am an adjunct professor at SUNY Farmingdale, and have a part time internship in an elementary school. No time for anything.

Yeah girls i know how u feel....I work full time and go to school part time. I'm taking one class this summer but only in June and then I'll be in full time planning mode. I just want to do so many things for the wedding, but I have to pace myself. Good luck to all of you ladies...it's a lot to handle!

Re: Full time students
I'm also part time student/full time worker. So i don't have much time to make appointements and plan things... so i'm going to wait until the semester is over (two more weeks). Maybe by then i'll also have money for deposits.
