fun reception tips/ideas!

I just wanted to share with all the brides planning...

I went to a wedding last night in Pennsylvania (I was a part-time wedding consultant) and my friend had some unique ideas. I also got married last year and figured I'd share some of these ideas...

A contest where guests win a bottle of champagne. The DJ/Band made it a contest with questions such as:
Who traveled here the farthest by car? By plane?

Who's anniversary is closest to this wedding date?

Who just had a baby?

Who has been married the longest? And shortest?

The first person to come up to the DJ/Band and explain why he loves his wife and why they should win a bottle?

(This can be done throughout dinner, and the winner of each of these questions gets to come up and win a bottle of champagne)

Also, special dance ideas: A dance for all the married couples, then ask everyone under 5 years to move to the side, then 10 years, 20 years, so that the people married the longest remain in the center.
