Oh my God... I am soo sorry... I had the same problem with Kim & her dress!!!!!! We wound up paying for it and she supposedly mailed out the check yesterday - and if she did that - we'd have it today - which we do NOT....

Stick to your guns on the tiara - no way!! Offer to make the FG a lovely headband out of flowers or something...or maybe give her a wand to feel special - but NO WAY can she wear a tiara!!!!

It's like we're soooo close in date and have sooo many of the same issues!!!

Sorry to crash, I just wanted to ask if FH knows about the drama? That would suk if those e-mails cause drama between him and his sister, or family....if they are even close....

Part of that issue with he & his sister is that in his family he has NEVER mattered. His sister got married first - gave them their first grandkids first...he has never really rated. Quite literally - he works weekends - always has, always will - he's in appliance sales. They plan HIS birthday dinner on days he can't be there and then they get mad at him for being late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sounds like my best friend, she was always treated like that too, her two sisters got everything, and she always got the crap end of the stick....that stinks...sorry...I really do hope everything works out!

Crap end of the stick is right. His parents paid for her entire wedding and now 15 years later - the ENTIRE DIVORCE...so now they have no money. And the ONE thing they're paying for is the rehearsal dinner & you have no idea the grief we're getting on that. I'm about one more argument away from telling them to suck it & we'll pay... BUT FH refuses to not let them pay for SOMETHING..

If i didn't think his mother would throw a HISSY FIT - i'd ask her to not be in the wedding and ask another good friend of mine... I'm sincerely weighing that option.

I knew she wouldn't have the time or money - but his father said to my face that they would help with that and so far they haven't done ANYTHING to help...

That's what drove me crazy - i gave her the email address seriously, 4 separate times & she yells at me saying that i didn't.... COME ON NOW - learn to read lady!!!!

That works for me - can see the headline now...

Strange occurrences in NY today when 10 Long Island Weddings members broke one of their own out of a local jail. Police only caught up with one member who claims the assault was completely justified. Once the caught member showed this posting - she was released immediately and the manhunt is on for the SIL.

UGHHH! After reading how rude she is, Ive already started a bail-you-out fund.

I am so glad I dont have any of those problems. My FH and his family dont talk!

OMG I feel so bad for you girls! I thank god every day that my FIL's are wonderful and I haven't had any problems yet... (knock on wood!)

Hang in there, everything will get better... and FH is worth it!
