I'm so glad the woman in the post office suggested I bring in one invite before stamping them. My invites were heavy and require a 65 cent, not a 45 cent, stamp. Word to the wise...get an invite weighed at the post office before stamping all of your invites!! I didn't know, hope this helps!

Thanks! I did the same thing! I had my mom bring one of mine in to see the stamp price and it was 65 cents also. Good thinking girl!

I also heard that if you travel to a couple different PO's, sometimes they differ on pricing!

Yes, definitely agree go to the post office and have them weighed to avoid returns. I weighed ours in a pitney bowes machine in my office and it came out to .85 cents but when I went to the post office they told me it will cost $1.30 big difference! LOL

And don't forget to get it hand cancelled so the machine wont ruin the invites.

I went to the post office by me and they told me it would cost 1.95 to mail my invites...i was shocked and couldn't believe it. A few weeks later I went back to double check before buying the stamps...and another guy in the SAME post office told me it would cost.....65 cents. Talk about a big difference. I am probably going to check one more time before mailing them because I am paranoid now!
