What kind of wedding band are you getting? Something simple or something with a little more flash to it? I can't decide. Can you post your wedding band pics?

I think that's what I have then. I have a low set round cut diamond in 6 prongs that curve around the top part of the diamond.....so I'll have a problem finding a ring?
maybe if you go the jeweler who did your ering they can help you out - i have a really high setting so my ring band kind of arcs up on the sides and in the middle there is the basket that the diamond sits in - my diamond sits very high in the air almost half an inch higher than my finger - its hard to explain - i dont have any pics with me at work where you can see what i m talking about - but anyways, because of the very high setting and the shape of my band most wedding rings i tried on did not sit flush against my ering band - most wedding bands were wider than my ering band and stuck out on the sides and its because my ering band arcs up - that is why my wedding band is going to be custom made to sit flush against my ering band...so im sure you can have a diamond band made so it will sit flush with your ering - just ask the jeweler

I'm going to get a channel set band. But, I'm having problems matching mine because my ring is a knife edge and there aren't alot of bands that sit flush with it. I need something where the edges are sloped downward.
What is a knife edge?
It's hard to describe without actually seeing it. It's almost like the center stone is cradled in a basket. LOL. The prongs are low and they hug the diamond. The Tiffany setting is a knife edge setting.
'knife-edge' is actually talking about the design of the band, not the setting. it means that the band cmes to a point in the center rather than being totally rounded, like a 'knife,' and when you look down on it from the top while it's on your finger you can see the point on the sides.
the tiffany solitaire DOES have a knife-edge AND a low setting. That is what my ring has, and it was harder to find a matching band --- my ring was set too low. A very very flat ring sat flush, but too flat for any diamonds to be set in it.
I attached a pic of an e-ring and wedding band that are both 'knife edge' even here, with a VERY low set wedding band, they dont sit entirely flush. it's the nature of the low setting
i also attached a pic of 2 knife edge bands so you can see the look w/out diamonds
I'm going to get an eternity band on Monday!!!! I'll try to post pics with e ring....
Some advise I heard from people to not have the stones go all the way around only 3/4 b/c on the bottom they either fall our or can chip. So I have been told!

Re: Gals with Solitare E-rings....
thanks so much. we looked around a bit for it cause I didn't want something too big to overpower the e-ring but nice to stand on it's own if I wear it alone. and it looks like eternity but I think more comfy cause the stones just span to the sides. glad you like it.
btw your ring make a nice set too. the all round do look better than I think my style would.
