Garden City area Bakery

Hi Ladies,

Not from Long Island.....
Staying at the Wingate Inn in Garden City and getting married at the Fox Hollow. We will be catering food in for the rehearsal dinner.
Would love to buy a groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner -- does anyone know of any great bakeries in the Garden City area??

Not too far from there is Malverne Bakery.
We used them for our engagement cake and it was unbelievable! Looked and tasted great!!

I second malverne bakery!!! It is my favorite bakery in the world....their black and white cookies I would kill for :)

There is an EXCELLENT bakery in town called Riesterer's bakery. Here's a website

do not use christoper's in garden city park.. the cake will look great but it is inedible! we had to throw out our engagement cake.

maria's in westbury is great!
