i can't decide. what are your thoughts?

can u just do the b-k toss and the anniversary dance with no garter toss? or will that be odd?

It's your wedding - do whatever you want! Personally, I didn't do the garter toss and I don't regret it!

I am wearing one but we are not doing the garter thig. We believe that there are going to only be 5 unmarried ladies at our wedding, not including kids (can you imagine). So it's pointless. Besides we had a bad experience with it once and don't care to repeat it.

We didn't do it. There weren't that many single people there and the ones that were, were very young. Besides, I wanted more dance time!

At FI's brothers wedding this past July, they did the anniversary dance, and FI's mom and dad got up and danced without really knowing what it was about at first. Mind you, they are legally separated and have not lived together for over 10 years! So they got up and danced, and before you knew it, the DJ was down to like 20 years and only 4 couples and his Dad tried to drag his mom off the dance floor, so they wouldn't be the winners, but it didn't work. They ended up WINNING! They had been 'married' the longest. 40 years that very day! (yes they got married on their anniversary). It was one of the most uncomfortable moments of my life and they aren't even MY parents. So FI and I decided this was something we would in no way shape or form do at our wedding :D
