Re: garter (poll)
i'm not but only because we will not really have too many single people at our wedding to take part in either the bouquet or garter thing. I guess its not a definite no, but we have to think about whether there will be more than like 2 people up there trying to catch!

Re: garter (poll)
I'll be wearing a garter but there will be no garter toss. We are in our mid to late 30's and, honestly, all but two or three people invited are married. Who would it be tossed to, my single brother?.... ewwww, that's kinda gross. Personally, I think the bouquet/garter toss are outdated practices. Maybe it's because of my age but if I wasn't engaged and you asked me to go out there at the age of 34, no way!

I will probably wear one but we decided to do the anniversary dance instead of the toss.

Re: garter (poll)
I decided to do the anniversary dance also. My sister got married in April and we are all in our 20's and I think that tere may have only been 4 people out there. I think that the anniversary dance is nice because it honors some of the older people at your wedding that may not be included in everything else that is geared for the younger crowd.

Re: garter (poll)
I wore a garter but we did not throw the boo-k or the garter. We gave my mom a smaller boo-k and my dad the same garter that I wore as a thank you for all their help and support with our wedding.

I'm going to do it. I will have a handful of single people at my wedding. I think its one of those stupid/fun traditions of a wedding.

We didn't do either (garter toss or bo-k toss) I had our parents and in-laws wedding song played for each of them and they danced to it. It was my parents 30th anniversary the week after the wedding. Dh's parents were married for 46 years so we wanted to acknowledge that someway. It turned out to be great. They loved it!

Re: garter (poll)
We're not doing it...I hate being dragged on the dance floor of other weddings for the boq toss...and FH feels the same about the garter toss

My ILs were married 40 years 2 weeks before our wedding so we had their wedding song played and they danced to it.
