Re: Get in Tune DJ!! :)
Not to start anything or to fan the fire further, but it's amazing to me how quickly uninformed (not to mention inaccurate) judgements can be made on this site.

Re: Get in Tune DJ!! :)
I'd really like to hear from someone who has actually used them and either liked or disliked.I talked to Glen on the phone. He seemed like a nice guy. I am calling next week while my fiance is here from Scotland for a meeting.
Someone was going to use Glen in October, don't remember who it was. I hope they post soon.

Re: Get in Tune DJ!! :)
Paiz you are right, lets just keep bumping the thread till she posts! There were some reviews on the site somewhere though, never a negative so far, working out of his house was the first negative comment I have heard which i just think is silly, why does that matter, Wild Rose works out of their house and everybody loves them.

Re: Get in Tune DJ!! :)
Hey Tara, you mean this whole time that I've known you you don't REALLY work at a hospital???
If you wanted to promote the DJ company that you work for, you should've brought some flyers and brochures to the LI GTG. Might've helped out the 10 OTHER BRIDES that were also there.
HAAA!!
I can assure you that I've met Tara and she IS a real bride and she is planning a wedding, and NO, I don't work for this DJ company that eveeryone is so curious about.
And I am not using this DJ, but I think it's sad that a REAL BRIDE can't get on this board and sing the praises of the vendors that she was confident enough to book.
I will on more than one occasion, talk about Current Affair (my band) or Flower Michelle because I'm psyched that I chose them as vendors for my wedding. And I'll recommend them to anyone who asks, as many times as anyone asks. That's just a bride being excited about her plans. I can assure you that it doesn't mean I work for any of these companies. If it counts as promotion so be it. We're all excited about the choices we've made and we should be able to talk about them for as long as there are other brides out there willing to listen.
(feel free to check out all my posts if you're not sure of the authenticity of bride status
)

I'm too lazy to organize one...but if you're up for the challenge...everyone's married already well almost :( Michelle's practically a Mrs.
You and I are the last ones out of that whole group from Friday's!
Boo.

Re: Get in Tune DJ!! :)
It's personal choice. What is nice about this site is that you can obtain all opnions about companies, whether they are good or bad.I went to see GIT at his home. Watched a video for an hour while he took business calls even though we made an appointment which I did not think was right. We did not go with GIT because we did not prefer his approach/performance.
I hear very good things about GIT as well but we did not feel comfortable. It all about what works for you.

Re: Get in Tune DJ!! :)
Tara- too funny! I never knew that you lead this double life! And to think you've cleverly hidden your GIT promoter status by cleverly posting several other details of your wedding. You are good!
It just amazes me that a NEWCOMER can get on the board and pass judgements like she's the f'n MESSIAH!
Continued happy planning, er, I mean promoting - oh whatever! LOL!

Re: Get in Tune DJ!! :)
Are you kidding me????????? Tarakinspa did your job title change to DJ promoter just because you are confident with your choice in your DJ?? BTW- an excellent choice. I am the Lisa K who just used Get in Tune. Here is my review.......DJ
Get in Tune
AMAZING!!!!!!!! Glen was our MC. The package we decided on was the Ultimate, which included the MC, a DJ and a lighting operator. Worth
every single penny. EVERYONE, including my 89 year old Nanny was up dancing. Glen and his crew were very professional. Went over names and final details and made sure he had pronunciations down to a science. A great crowd motivator and from what we have heard from so many of
our guests 'This was one hell of an @ss kicckin party'!!!! We had 4 calls from guests wanting his name and # because they want to use him
too! Played a great variety of music (boardy barn classsics, oldies, Frank Sinatra, slow songs) Only time people were sitting was to take a bite or 2 of food. Even in our seats while we were eating, we were swaying away to 'That's amore' and 'knock 3 times'. Glen played both mine and My Husband's parents anniversary songs, who have been both
married for over 30 years. He even wished my mom a happy birthday!! Two highlights that totally stick out in my head are when my 25 year old
brother who caught the garter had to put the garter onto Mike's sister who caught the bouquet. Glen added some spice and blindfolded my brother,
switched my husband's 18 year old sister out of chair and replaced her with Mike's grandfathers girlfriend who is in her 70's!!! My brother
had no idea and when we pulled the blind fold off of him, he fell back and laughed hysterical, as well as all of our guests. Picture 100 people in a very tight huddle around a chair in the middle of the dance
floor. VERY, VERY Funny!!!! Then we had to have every girls theme song at one point in her life-Gloria Gaynor's I will Survive. But again,
Glen put another twist in it. Not alot of people have heard it, but the group Cake recorded a guy's version of I will Survive and my husband
liked it from the second he heard it. We looked for a mix of it and couldn't find one, but Glen had the girls line up on one side of the dance floor and the guys on the other. First he had the girls sing to the guys, then switched and had the guys sing to us. It was very cool. We were SO happy with Get in Tune!!
