So next Tuesday is FHs bday... and I wanted to just gather the family and all meet up at Applebees. Then, his sister says that she can't get off work, her husband can't leave work early...AUGH! I told everyone about it 2 weeks ago, and now they are the ones giving the problem. Everyone in my family is down and ready, but his family ALWAYS has an issue. I guess I should just call it off...

Maybe ypou can change the day or just go withyour fam if his cant make it. Butcelebrate it for him.

You should still go out! Even if its just you guys and your family he will appreciate it... tell his family to meet you there whenever they can, maybe they can make it for a drink later on or dessert.

FH's sister pulls the same s h i t on me or at least tries to. go out with him and whoever can be there will be there. you gave them plently of notice and they're tellin you this now?!?! if they can't be there then too bad, they can have a seperate dinner for him if they like. i can't stand things like that.

ugh, how annoying!?! whatever, i think you should go out and celebrate with those who choose to come. Don't ruin it for everyone else...especially FH! His family will be the ones missing out!!!!

Either way I was goig to take him out and then give him a small but special gift. I just was thinking that it would be nicer to have the whole fam there as well. And, if it ends up being only my family it will just be odd ... that not fair to him. Oh well... I will just take him somewhere nicer I geuss lol
