I was scheduled for an induction but only if I showed signs of ripening/dilation on my own. I did in the one week they gave me and I ended up being induced and not going in to labor on my own. It wasn't that bad, but be prepared for a long night(s.)

I was scheduled for an induction on my due date, but ended up going into labor on my own 5 days sooner. I was given Cervidil because my water broke, but I had no contractions, and it worked wonders on me!! I went from 4-10 lickety split and was in labor for 12 hours!
