I'm a Business Analyst in Applications Development for a national media company.

I basically test software and propose enhancements for the business users.

i'm a hospital based neurosurgery PA for a private practice all over long island, but i generally work throughout nassau county only

Ohhh that's very interesting. I graduated last may with my NP, but my Specialty is women heAlth. OBGYN is my thing!!

Hey all! lets Get to know everyone. So what are your occupations?
Im a RN studying to take my NCC exam so I will be a licensed WHNP.... I will be looking for a new job because night shift really sucks for me. Its hard to have a life that way.

Yo! I fell asleep on my last post to you. Lol I work at woodhull medical center night shift. It's literally killing me, I hope God opens doors for me with a WHNP job in long island. I'm on the labor and delivery unit

Thanks Kristy! I LOVE what i do, and trust me if they are noit accepting the calls text me i will help you get them accepted. Does your school not have a policy that says teh social worker must make the calls?

I am a RN at Memorial sloan kettering Cancer Center on a bone marrow transplant unit. Im also working nights and I hate it but hopefully not for to long!!! I am appling to Molloys Graduate program this week!!

I'm at Molloy for my BSN. The program is so wonderful! What Masters program are you applying for?

im in city, so we have diff regs... i used to call, then it was the social worker had to.. who knows what the rules are this month??!!

Same here!! I am a preschool teacher and dont make nearly enough for what we deal with everyday LOL

I work for a home and health care co in the bronx as a claims rep. Basically im responsible for handling all the insurance claims for our pt's.. kind of like medical billing. I type away in the computer all day lol

That's awesome...I'm also just over a year out and I love neurosurgery...I did a rotation in on/gym at forest hills...it was cool, but to be honest being around that many women all day got to me hahaha...but for the most part its a very feel good area, especially if ur in l&d

I'm a Speech Language Pathologist. I'm also and adjunct professor. I'm working on my Ph.D (my dissertation involves research with people with Parkinson's Disease) and PRAY that I will be done by August...If you know some people with Parkinson's send them my way so I can finish. The PhD has been a LOOONG PROCESS and I REALLY need to finish so I can work full time and make some money to pay for the wedding!!!

I'm a paralegal at a great law firm. I'm also finishing (well attempting to-lol) Law School. I took a break for a year due to unforeseen circumstances, but I'm returning this coming semester. I only have about a semester left and I'm still paying on student loans so I figured I'd better finish

I love what I do that is for sure! I am always on the hunt for a school that pays more though!
