Gift Baskets for the Couple

Hello all,

So, yes, I am engaged and getting married hopefully this fall, but before I assume the role of bride, I am the maid of honor for my sister's wedding July 1st. She is getting married in Disney and honeymooning there afterwards. I would like to make them a basket for their honeymoon, any ideas on what I should put in??? I was thinking robes with their names on them, a 'Do Not Disturb' sign, but what else....


Also, since it is a destination wedding, my sister is renting a room on property at the resort closest to her ceremony only for the night before the wedding. The 'girls' (the bride, myself, and the bridesmaid (my cousin)) will be staying the night there, so I thought a little Girls' Night In basket would be fun to present to her for that evening. What would you recommend putting in it??? She is not a blow-up doll, dirty lollipops, etc type of girl!

First of all congratulations and welcome to the boards.

I think the robes, slipper basket is nice. Maybe include wine or champagne...whatever they prefer.

As for the night before, since it is the 'night before', what about a pampering spa party. Hire a mani-pedi person to come to the room, drink wine (not too much), relax and shoot the breeze. It may help relax her nerves and she can get beauty sleep / rest up for the Big Event.
