I think we're doing one gift per couple. So... FOG/MOG gets one, MOB/Stepfather of Bride gets one, FOB/Stepmom gets one... and his grandma gets one.

I personally may do a little something extra special for our moms... but honestly... I don't know how his mother will take it.

I love my future in laws.. but they're weird with certain things. They're not sentimental about things really so I'm not sure exactly if I'll get the reaction I'd be expecting. Does that make sense?

I know I also want to do a little something extra for my mom as well... I'm actually considering doing something after the wedding... a photo of her mom from her wedding... a photo of my mom from her 2nd wedding... a photo of me from my wedding... in like a triad type frame. Or like a photo of my grandparents @ their wedding, then my mom and stepdad at theirs and FH and I at ours. Something like that. Maybe I'll do the same for my FMIL.

As for you... are the presents just from YOU... or from you and FH? Thats very sweet of his Aunt to 'step up'. Was it her sister that was his mom? or is it your FFIL's sister?

Yeah that makes sense. Combined gifts are so much easier but I thought it would be nice to personalize it ya know? The gifts are from both FH & I. His Aunt is his mothers sister. We have already purchased gifts for my mom, BM, GM, FG, RB just got to get my creative juices flowing for all the others..

Since its his mothers sister... You could maybe do a locket with a photo of her and her sister at one of their weddings... and do one of you, FH and his aunt at your wedding. Or you could do something that includes something of your MIL's. Like a necklace with ALL of your birthstones in it, or made from a piece of her sisters jewelry that way.. in a way... your FH's mom is there and around and involved. Does that make sense?
