Gifts for Groom

What is everyone planning to buy for their FH for their wedding if you are planning to do that? I'm not sure what would be a good gift for my FH.

i got dh a rolex. it was his engagement, wedding gift!

I don't think FH and I are doing gifts. We just bought a house and our paying for our own wedding so we say that is our gifts to each other.

I already gave FH his gift on our one year mark. I got him a Raymond Weil watch and he's gonna wear it for the first time on the wedding day

either a Movado
or a flat screen 50 inch

I was thinking of getting him a watch, maybe a Tag Heuer or Movado.

I've been trying to figure out the same thing. I've heard that FH is buying me a newer car( I drive his old 94 Lumina). What can I get that will not look like crap next to a car?

I am buying him an engagement gift. We decided not to do wedding gifts. I am getting him either a Tag or a Breightling watch.

Thanks for your replies. I was thinking a watch to. I was going to get cufflinks but he guessed that I would get that for him.

I want to get him definitely engraved Tiffany cufflinks.... and maybe one of those ridiculously overpriced cappucino/espresso makers because he is a fanatic when it comes to cappucinos/espressos.... OR ... my FH is really into sports/being active and has done and wants to continue competing in triathalons... so maybe a new bike?

it all depends on what i can afford at the time -
although i do agree that a watch is a great gift! i got FH a movado when he graduated from college and he LOVES it. it's masculine, dressy, and goes with anything!

other ideas: season tickets to whatever sport he likes; plasma tv; new computer/laptop.... that's all i can think of for now!

I don't know if we're doing gifts on our wedding day. I have enough trouble with his bday and xmas, etc.

ETA: I googled it That is some watch!

I have no idea yet what I am getting, we didn't really discuss it yet. Funds may be low because we are planning on buying a house prior to our wedding. So that could be a gift to each other.

I have no clue what I am going to get the FH for the wedding. I might just buy him the projector tv. so that when he plays his games its HUGE!!! and so I can watch my Sex in the City reruns.
